Premier Inn EDOP Conference

When it came to their annual conference, Premier Inn outdid themselves once again this year. The Every Day On Purpose Conference was their biggest, most exciting event yet. Incorporating presentations, theatrical performances from the PI Exec Team (which roused a standing ovation from the audience), a fun fair, an Awards show - hosted by (the soon-to-be-Sir) Lenny Henry - and special guest performances from Britain’s Got Talent Winners, Collabro and Ella Henderson! *

A delegation of over 2000 streamed into Coventry’s Ricoh Arena to celebrate another fantastic year of growth for the hotel giant. Premier Inn invited employees from across their business - including executives, regional management, Receptionists, Chefs and Housekeepers. The aim of the day was to recognise, thank and reward them for their hard work, loyalty and record performances in the past 12 months.

brightfive were commissioned by Roebuck Productions to work on this huge event for the 11th consecutive year.  We relished the opportunity to be involved from the outset – starting with designing bespoke event branding, quickly followed by production of email invitations and delegate registration website, through set design, signage, stationey, screen content and ending post-event communications.

With a massive 20ft dual-blended Encore screen and two circular side screens we were really able to get stuck in with screen content and worked with the Premier Inn exec team to produce some really rather gorgeous (if we do say so ourselves) Keynote presentations, incorporating moving backgrounds and live and recorded video…and not a single bullet point!

Our team worked closely with the Premier Inn, RPL and Pocket Panto teams - Katie as Content Producer and Sophie as Graphics Operator, with much needed office support from Simon, Jamie, Johnny, Matt and John.

This large, technically complex show left us pretty worn out after 3 days onsite, but the adrenaline rush of such a great show (not to mention the brilliant backstage crew) meant it was well worth it.

Just wanted to send a note to say a huge thank you for all your support and patience last week for the conference. It is much appreciated and we have had great feedback so far on the conference and how it was received...Everything came together and it was a great event.
