York Mind Winter Concert: Get Your Tickets

11 NOV
York Mind Winter Concert 2016

It's almost time for the 2016 York Mind Winter Concert. Last year Sophie and Simon joined York Mind's team of volunteers at the annual event. This was a pretty sweet deal, as we got to enjoy a lovely relaxed evening of gorgeous acoustic music in the beautiful the National Centre for Early Music, whilst helping a great cause. Winner.

This year's concert looks like it might even be even better than 2015's. Hosted once again at the NCEM, the concert boasts a fantastic line up:

Zak Ford
York Musician Zak Ford plays soul infused melodic folk, with honest whole hearted vocals and harmonious chords.

The Bronze
The Bronze are a duo from York who make subtly affecting acoustic songs that you can slow dance to.

Joshua Burnell & Band
York-based artist Joshua Burnell has shaken the world of folk with his epic fantasty ballads and fiddle tunes.

If great music in a restored medieval chapel wasn't enough for you, there will also be a raffle and a cake bar (which is where you will most likely find me, helping/ eating).

Come and join us as we stave away the winter blues with good music, good cake, and good company. All proceeds go to York Mind, helping local people experiencing mental ill health.
