UK coffee giant Costa have plenty to celebrate in 2015. The brand continues to grow its business both at home - becoming the UK’s biggest coffee brand - and overseas - opening new stores across Europe, The Middle East and Asia. Beside this and they have been voted the Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop Brand (for the 5th consecutive year).
As such, Costa’s annual conference was all about celebrating, recognising and thanking the individuals and teams that have made this possible. This year’s event, ‘Costival’, was a fun, festival-themed day of presentations, recognition, and entertainment. Held once again at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, 2015’s event was Costa’s biggest yet, welcoming over 2,300 delegates from across Costa’s UK Retail, Individual and Corporate Franchise and Support branches of the business.
Delegates enjoyed a light-hearted day event in the festival-themed exhibition area - playing carnival games and sampling new products from the upcoming Summer range - before moving to the Main Hall for the afternoon’s presentations. As well as celebrating the successes of the last 12 months (including plenty of Awards), the day aimed to prepare Costa’s people for the months ahead - launching Summer’s targets, marketing campaigns and products.
After changing into their glad-rags, delegates enjoyed an evening Awards show, formal dinner and live entertainment from Scouting For Girls.
brightfive were invited by Roebuck Productions to manage and produce graphic design at this large event once again. Working with presenters, we designed and operated all presentations for the day and evening, as well as producing printed materials including directional signage, stationery and exhibition stands.
